Julie's Lens Stuff

A few individual people have had a great deal to do with how I view my world. One of those people was named Anton. He was on of the most flamboyant people I knew with long brown hair and bottomless brown eyes. I met him on the first day of sixth grade as we rode the bus to school. With a vast imagination, and being a chronic exaggerator and liar, he quickly became one of my best friends. To him nothing was impossible, and coming from someone with a genetic disorder that impaired his ability to walk, that was saying a great deal.
It was his love of science fiction, comic books and drawing that got me hooked on the genres of science fiction, fantasy, and horror. I read these books with reckless abandon because according to Anton, who was to say these things could not happen? Isaac Asimov's Prelude to Foundation, Bram Stokers Dracula, and Marion Zimmer Bradley's Mists of Avalon are a few examples of the books I have read because of Anton.
