Re: Kelley's Lens Excerpt

I relate to what you said about being from a traditional family and this being why you enjoyed Oddballs so much. I think it was my favorite book of the semester, because the family was so odd and funny, yet loved each other so much at the same time. Also, I read Little Women, and enjoyed the story, but never really paid attention to what happened to Jo. You are exactly right--she was beaten down in to society's view of a "proper" woman. That put a whole new spin on the book for me.
