Shannon, Your lens is quite different from the lenses I have when reading. It is evident that your lens affects your reading experience in a different manner that my optimistic lens does. I feel that, even just by reading this excerpt, I have made a step toward becoming a more knowledgable teacher. By seeing the varying lenses that can exist, I think you have made me more aware of how important it is to recognize that this type of lens may exist in a student. Nice job Shannon!
