I wish I had exposure to such an environment growing up. Being around so many different people might have helped me be more open to other kinds of people at a younger age. I knew very few people who did not grow up in the same type of family as I did or who looked a whole lot different from me. I was so naive as a kid, and I wish that I could have been exposed to different cultures, religions, and races when I was too young to know it. Luckily, I've grown a LOT since my childhood in that way, but it would have been nice to know about differences in people, rather than just hear bias accounts about them when I was at my most impressionable.
