I think it is so interesting that you and I look through a similar lens when reading literature about foreign places. It is exciting to know that someone else views that type of literature as I do, and believe what anyone says about a place I haven't been. I also grew up with my mom and dad reading me stories, so I have come to love the literature that they have, just like you and your mother. This makes me wonder if others who have not traveled alot view literature alot like we do.
